Carplay doesn't auto connect and toyota app problems.

Don’t think there is one for the remote start issue. I just go into settings and turn on carplay each time I remote start.

I have to do that as well. Going into the settings and choosing CarPlay as the mode to connect through regardless of me setting that up initially when creating my profile.

you can also just go into bluetooth, devices, and toggle back on use Apple Car Play, also solves the problem.

This hasn't resolved it for me. I have had to do that every other day. I'm still trying to figure out if it's a timeout or if any specific actions cause it.

I think it you use remote start and it can’t find your phone it resets itself.

Exactly. It looks for bluetooth from your phone which obviously isn't there if you remote start.
Bluetooth is what kickstarts Carplay.
