Changing my 4th gen wheels! Will 3rd gen fit?

I need some help I’m kind of confused I’ve read different threads but I want to make sure 3rd gen wheels will fit my 4th gen by simply putting them on and torquing the lug nuts. My second question is will my 4th gen lug nuts work on 3rd gen wheels

4th generation and 3rd generation trucks have different lug nuts sizes.

No. 3G Taco wheels do NOT fit 4G. The only Toyota wheels with bolt-on fit are 2022+ Tundra wheels. FYI.

Yes! The factory gen3 wheels fit! You need these lugs.

The 2024 has a smaller bore size 95.1mm

The 2023 and under have a larger bore size 106.1mm

So you can fit 2023 and older Tacoma/4runner wheels on the 2024, but you cannot fit 2024 wheels on the previous gen’s.

If you’re trying to fit aftermarket wheels from 3rd to 4th you will also need new M14x1.5 conical lugs.

They do fit, in addition to the lugs it is highly recommend to order hub rings so that they fit snug.
