I know I'm resurrecting an old thread, but I just installed my Switchback on my 4th gen Off-Road and the brackets don't match up to the levers near the tailgate. I was wondering if you had a photos of yours? I'm suspecting they sent me the wrong top, but it's super hard to find a photo of the switchback on the 4th gen Taco's. Two photos attached, when I called customer service and sent photos they just told me to use the rail and not the bracket. Seemed odd to me that the instructions explicitly said to use the brackets so they're there for a reason. Also neither side fully closes when you use just the rail.
Thanks!

So this is my set up. I have had no issues . I also have a bed extender ( not in these pics) and using the extender with this cover does present itself with challenges. The extender has to be raised by hand a bit in order to use the extender and clear the handles but under normal conditions it seals like it should I think.

Thanks so much for your pics! I Got it figured out; hoping Diamonback does right by the issue and swaps it for the correct model. Nothing on the page said anything about it being a previous gen or blocking ports. Here was their response:
" The cover you received is a previous design that was accidentally fitted with the newer parts and install guide for your order. The striker brackets are not needed for this cover, and the installation documentation that references them is unfortunately incorrect. The previous iteration of this cover used the bed tracks for clamping and interfered with access to the power ports and hatches in the bed. Our newer design was updated to have the clamp handle locations moved rearward to allow access to those ports and hatches, and it uses the striker brackets. The install guide reflects that updated change. "

Glad you got it figured out. They’re a good company. They should do right by you. Good luck.
