Disabling sensors?

Just checking with the community to see if anybody knows how to disable the sensors temporarily? I have the Carista app but I don't want to subscribe to it. I surf in an area that has sand dunes. The grass sets off all the sensors as I go down the road. Sometimes it even stops the vehicle

You may not be able to turn them off with the Carista app. But geeeze, it'll cost ya $9.99 to find out.

I can turn them off via the Carista app but I don't want to subscribe to it.

I think you can use the steering wheel settings icon to get access to all parking and collision detection settings including turning them off. Check your quick reference guide to know what the acronyms mean.

Yup, it is in the manual. You Tube videos will help. I turned off a few of mine, much nicer. What is nice, is the adaptive cruise control is full nanny, so if you want to turn it all on while you are messing with the radio or something, it is pretty much automatic driving mode while out of city traffic.
