I wasn't able to get my filters open, the tool I picked up from Amazon wasn't able to deal with those smaller filters, so never got to see inside. I'm almost @ 11K miles now, dealer did the last change for me as part of their -- whatever they offer -- @ 8800 miles. I'm gonna change mine from here on out again, but I've had 4 filter/oil changes starting from the beginning up to this point. I'm a fan of Amsoil as well, but gets kinda expensive. I flipped over, recently, to the Costco Synthetic. Seems work work well thus far. I'll change @ the 15K mark, if not earlier but curious to see what the oil is looking like these days. Engine has been doing great, not as noisy as it was at the beginning, and definitely making a bit more power. So seems like the rotating assembly has jelled together by now.

No creeper is gonna work unfortunately under this Taco, but no ramps either. Had to use a floor jack with my Silverado cuz the running boards were so low.
I also drive the same flavor of Tacoma. I'm coming up on my 1st oil & filter change in the next week or two, probably at 700 or 800 miles.

Why can't I just drive it up onto my ramps? I don't see any obvious conflicts, but I might be missing something.
