They will probably do like what a lot of other manufacturers are doing and put an oil level reading in the multimedia. Audi has not had an oil dipstick for almost 20 years.

Of course, just using a sending unit in the crank case like the one we have been trusting in our gas tanks for the last sixty years. A dipstick will be as passé as the fuel reserve valve on a 1959 Beetle. Thanks for this, hopefully “dipstick” can remain a middle school insult as long as I remain alive!!
