Pulled oil dipstick and o ring fell off.

If you guys check your oil make sure you double check if the o-ring is still there. I pulled my dipstick a couple times checking the oil and the last time the o-ring fell off luckily I was able to find it. It was split in half. No idea if it was a defective o-ring from the factory or something I did wrong. Anyway I ordered a new from my dealer was $4.

We have o-rings at my shop but none are the exact same dimensions. I’d rather have the oem part so it doesn’t get dust down the tube
