I understand that this is clearly a first world problem but I'm going to ask anyway...

Anyone here have experience using Toyota's Vehicle Special Purchase Program (VSPP)? This is the program available to Toyota employees and their family members (me, in this case), similar to Ford's A-Plan. As you might expect this results in a nice price, no negotiation. BUT, now that vehicle supplies are limited, many (all?) dealers are not honoring it on popular vehicles. As in: I can get VSPP pricing on a plain Camry but not on a GR Corolla or a '24 Tacoma order. Naturally, I don't want a plain Camry at this time. :)

Any dealers that are accepting it? I thought I heard that a VSPP vehicle sale wouldn't count against that dealer's allotment if the car was ordered, but I'm new to this and don't know for sure.

Might be time to give up this search, but thought I'd ask first. Thanks in advance.

What a crock that its limited on anything. I get some employees might want to flip something from the special pricing, so they should just limit how many vehicles a year.
They do limit the family purchases per year per employee. And the terms are that you have to keep the vehicle for a year, can't turn right around and sell it. So even with those rules in place, I'm finding it hard to make the program work.

FWIW, I have no problems with Toyota's terms. I'll happily keep a GR Corolla or '24 Tacoma for the long haul, however long that might be. My old '95 Integra is still running, for now, although one of my daughters might finish it off soon!
