New member, Picked up a 2024 Taco Limited and would like an on board air compressor system. Found an OEM and wanted to know if anyone tried to install on a Limited Taco. Open to any suggestions.

Does this place just have one? I'm looking for one as well. Pretty sure the recess on the left side is the same in the TrailHunter and others who have it so it should be fine. You'll have to wire it. Not sure if you have AUX buttons pre wired or not.

Aftermarket systems with installation on the side left are all sold out. Other option would be an engine bay install. May wait to see if something else comes available but would like the OEM finish.

I think I'm going with the sdhqoffroad kit. It's a little more money all in but it looks like a solid solution.

If U have power tower at rear of bed,than just remove it and same holes and size is PT 949-35240 --plug and play, total time to install 1/2 an hour

What an awesome upgrade. I love mine. Highly recommend it and think it would be worth it to add.

Tested the integrated 12v outlet of the compressor today.. phone charger, no problem. 12v charging a Bluetti, no problem. Attempted to power up my diesel heater,, blew the fuse. Found that the outlet is rated for 90 watts, initial start up of my heater pulls around 99, then ramps down to 10-30 watts. Not that I’d run my heater on this outlet all night, just an observation that I thought I’d share.

what's power tower? got a pic of the plug?

#PT949-35340-is already instaled-remove it--in PT 949-35240 kit wil be replacement that u need for compressor--most likely u will need to cut hoe for compressor---use door from storage box on passinger side--the rest is all plug and play--no aditional wiring required

Thanks! I'm guessing the power needed to run the 400w edison outlet in the bed is enough to power the compressor.
