i've been running the ICS Fab dash mount for the last few months and it's been really solid. only have need for a handheld GMRS but it has enough space to mount radio boxes and more.

the 2 hole amps ball mounts with 3" arms on either side are the best mounting points to keep a phone/radio/mic tucked in without obstructing view, rather than mounting ontop of the already big screen.

Victory4x4 sent a complete replacement dash mount with some modifications to the brackets and the mounting holes on the dash mount. It dropped right in, no fighting, no questionable attachments, no issues. The new brackets have a L and a R engraved into them. The originals took some finagling before i found the right configuration placement for the brackets.
Anyways, its beautiful and I am impressed with the customer service. I'll post pics once I get it all set up with the head unit installed.
One question though, anyone run wire down behind the 14 screen and how did you do it if you did? I could figure it out, but if someones already done it, why reinvent the wheel?

Glad they worked out. I pulled the radio to run wires. It was pretty easy.

I also have an IC 2730. It looks like you also ran the wiring for the radio behind the 14” screen. Just curious, where did you mount the body of the radio?

Under the passenger seat. Then I put a small remote speaker behind the dash. It works great.

sweet. this is where I had it in my 3rd gen- easier now given that the battery is on the passenger side in the 4th gen. Thanks!!

One more question - I also have the ditch light brackets. In the pictures for the dash mount, it looks like you also have a (possibly NMO-mounted) antenna on the passenger side. Were you able to get a standard NMO mounting to the ditch light brackets? it is a little too small for my NMO mount. was there a particular antenna mount that fits well in the ditch lights?

If I remember correctly I used this mount and it fit without the oring on the bottom of the nut. You could probably find a 1/2 NMO for thicker steel, but I wanted to keep it all low profile. Don't forget you'll need to remove some powdercoat underneath the brackets for it to ground.
