Looking for some experience here. I really want to get this tune, but I just got quoted $650 and wanted to be sure it was a good price

Bernie,

That is MSRP for the calibration to be applied by our retailers.

Best,
Justin

I got my truck tuned last Friday and it’s night and day difference. I had my 3rd gen tuned with OTT also. Not only is the extra power very noticeable, but the transmission shifting is really refined to about perfect. Where I really noticed the tune and how smooth the power delivery actually comes on, is when I was going 70 on the highway and had to slow down to 40 coming into town for a short distance and then the speed bumps back up to 70 again. When I went from 40 and back to 70 I really payed attention to my boost gauge to see if the tune was just going to throw more boost to get up to speed. My boost gauge did not shoot up like I thought it would, but my truck was moving way faster than the stock tune did before. What I’m saying is, there’s definetly timing added to the tune and not just more boost added. The truck is a riot to drive now and probably one of the most favorite trucks I’ve owned so far. If you look at the dyno numbers with the tune, it’s making V8 numbers and the engine is not screaming doing it either. I get a kick out of reading the comments on some of the YouTube videos I’ve watched saying high strung turbo 4cyl and how they are not going to hold up. Still trying to figure out the high strung part, because these trucks make power at lower rpm’s and the engine is built pretty robust. The only thing you’ll regret is that you’d wish you have got the tune sooner.

I'm already happy with my trucks performance but looking forward to hear more about real world hybrid experiences.

Same here. I'd really like to see some more aggressive use of the electric motor to help squeeze more gas mileage out of it during both highway driving and around town. As is, I'm getting 24+ just city driving and can pretty much stay in all electric when driving in my neighborhood. I know there are limits based on battery size and electric motor output, but seems there should more that can be done in that area!
