Hybrid system malfunction

After speaking with the parts and service advisor they have come to the conclusion that for the hybrid models that don't come from the factory with the CAI, a tune or ECU update will be required for the installation of the TRD CAI. They have approved the return of this part and will refund me. They did give me the option of keeping part and waiting for a tune or patch if it ever comes out but I declined and will wait for Toyota.

PSA: don't install that TRD CAI even if your dash doesn't pop out with codes, in the module when connected to the computer the code mentioned by dunder will pop up.

Strange? It’s just the Toyota intake that throws codes? There are a few others with aftermarket and no codes.
