Unfortunately that is the case from the OEM cover. Side rails are lowered. Perhaps the rear isn't will have to further inspect.

Yeah, no go with the side panels with that setup.

The driver side panel requires drilling? I hadn't seen that, bit of a letdown

I'm in the process of researching/shopping for molle panels. What I've found is the OEM panels are significantly cheaper than aftermarket. I just paid $165 for a front panel (PT767-35900). No thoughts yet since I'm waiting on delivery ... of both the panel and the truck.

Other options have been mentioned above. Rough Country, Rago Fabrication, Victory 4x4, and CaliRaised. I seem to recall all of the full-length side panels are 2-3 piece. All full-length side panels I've seen require drilling on the driver's side, but use existing bolts on the passenger side.

The Victory 4x4 panel uses through bolts with nuts. The Rago panel uses rivet nuts. The Toyota OEM side panels are a 2/3 panel and doesn't require drilling as best I can tell. I think the Rough Country is also a 2/3 length panel but does seem to require drilling.

I dont see where RC cab panel requires drilling. They all seem to use the same brackets behind the rail and then a bracket to mount to the bolt\bracket thats in the bed in each corner.

I have the RC cab panel and it does not require drilling. I don't think any of the cab panels require drilling. It's only the side panels that you need to drill for a secure mount.

That's the passenger side panel and yes it requires drilling. The cab panel is at the front of the bed up near the cab of the truck.

The bolt to some "z" mounts and those bolt to holes drilled in the bed.

Missed that. I thought we were still talking about the side panels. From what I've seen all of the cab panels are no drill. It's the side panels that are, mostly the driver's side.

It does use them, but you have to mount the bottom to something.

I have the V4x4 panels all around and I didn't do anything with the bottom driver's side. I bolted the rubber bumpers behind the panels but didn't drill into the bed and it is perfectly fine for my needs. Although all I have on that side right now is a med kit and a Element fire extinguisher. There's some crap on the bed floor waiting to be mounted but I hate the winter and am waiting for it to warm up before tackle that. But I am almost certain the molle panel will be fine without attaching the bottom.

One thing I couldn't help but notice with the Victory panels is the hardware is starting to rust. Right now it isn't exposed because they're under the shell but they were installed and exposed to the elements for maybe a month. That's all it took for some corrosion to start. It wouldn't deter me from purchasing the same brand again. Silly as it may seem, I like the grocery bag hook things on them. Also the cutouts for lights and cubbies are better than others like the Cali Raised ones.

I'm sorry to hear that. The hardware should all be black oxide coated stainless. Could you please shoot the customer service team some photos when you get a second just to verify that our bolt supplier didn't mix anything up? Sorry for the hassle.
