Hi everyone!
I am a really happy new Tacoma 4g member and want to share a picture of my new 2024 Tacoma Hybrid Premium, which I have to wait over three months to finally get here, the only feature that I am missing on it is the stabilizer bar disconnect, but I couldn't wait months to find one with that on a hybrid OR trim..

...Asking if somebody can help with with the following issue. I park my Tacoma to go shopping and when I returned and try to start the engine a message and beeping was asking me to depress the brake pedal and have the key fob close to the start button and nothing, same message and beeping on several attempts, I had to start my engine trough my Toyota app and that way I was able to start the engine and no problems after that. Well after another week and visiting my doctor at the parking lot I tried to open the door to unlock and didn't, a beeping on the truck and flashing on the key fob was repeatedly doing the same on several tries, push the unlock icon on the key fob and didn't work neither, when to the passenger side and the door was unlocked, push the unlock on the door and that way I was able to open the driver door. Thank you in advance.

With both fobs? Sounds like a dead battery in the active fob.
This. I would suggest first trying a different fob and see if that works. The fob you're using sounds like the battery is dying/dead. Take it to the dealership and have them swap the battery out in the fob.

Agree with the dead battery in the fob(s). Don't forget you have an actual key in the fob that will unlock the driver's door.

That, and if the battery is dead in the fob, you can still start the vehicle by pressing the start button with the fob itself usually. Or some vehicles have a place in like the center console to place the fob if it's dead. Definitely not ideal, but still handy information to know.
