I have not heard of any problems caused by this amp. They have made them for just about every Toyota product produced for some time, so I think we would have heard about that by now.

It is easily removed if there is a problem. Take it out, plug back in the factory connectors and they would never know it had been there. The only common changes that trigger warranty problems tend to be changes to the suspension, like lifts.

My 2024 truck has the same issue. The door speakers barely make any sound. If you put the mix to the rear you have to crank the volume to almost max to hear it in a normal way, and it's still not that loud.

Has anyone found a fix? And the argument that it's loud enough overall is missing the point....

The only thing I have found to kind of help is the Beatsonic amplifier. I hooked it up the first time and didn't think it was doing anything but later found out it was me not havingthe settings right. It just boosts the volume. I also have the fader pushed to the back a couple notches on the Toyota settings. It's still not what I would consider a premium sound system.

I agree with @Biggs1975 on the Beat Sonic amp. I have had that amp for a month now and have listened to more of my music and I am liking it more than I did at first. It lets you push the soundfield back and recover the lost volume to have a better soundfield and still have adequate sound levels.

From my perspective it is the best upgrade you can hope for unless you just replace the whole system with a truly premium sound system at a huge cost.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. It's hard to understand why Toyota sent it out the door like this...
Another thing I found that helps also is to set your equalizer on your phone, assuming you are streaming music to balanced or keep everything in the middle. I then use the Toyota settings to adjust the treble, midrange, and bass. It's a disappointment in my opinion but the only other option is to start from scratch with a new system.
