key fob not working

My key fob isn't working and I can't start the truck or anything. Any idea

Did you try putting it right up against the start button?
Didn't you get 2?

Yes I got 2. The one I use all the time works fine, girlfriend took the spare key worked fine all day then it just stopped working. She got it fixed by doing whatever was in the manual but no idea why it just stopped working

Not sure if this helps - but it’s how most Toyota’s fobs work. Doubt someone is “accidentally” getting it into the battery saver mode.

lol she was able to get the truck started and drive home but the dash said key was disabled

Sounds like your key fob's giving you trouble. It could be something simple like the battery running low, which happens pretty often. I’d try replacing the battery first—super easy to do, and you can usually get a replacement at any local store or online.
