Long Term Ownership Plans For Your Tacoma 4th Gen? (15-20 Years)

I keep my truck in mint condition, it will never see dirt roads, or be used as a truck. I just enjoy driving a tacoma. Washed, waxed weekly sometimes multiple times a week and the interior is wiped down daily. Super ocd.

How many of you guys plan on keeping your 2024 Tacoma for the long haul? Anyone buying the 24s and plan on trading them in when the refresh model comes out in few years? Just curious what everyone’s plans are. I plan on keeping mine for 20 plus years

At age 66 this will likely be my last? I bought my first Taco in 1998, second in 2008. Unfortunately, 08 was totaled last September on my 65th birthday following a day at work . I paid $24K and insurance returned $12,600! It was still pristine but 204,000 miles and 10 years for $11,400. Pretty good ROI.

Bought my 2004 new, and handed it off to a family member when my 2024 arrived. Hopefully this one will make it to 2044.

Might sell mine if another chip shortage comes along with a Super pandemic causing used trucks to sell for more than new ones, otherwise this Taco and Bronco are for life.

I kept my 1st gen 21 problem free years. I'm 69 so this 2024 Pro is likely my last ruck.

I'm 42 and unless something really bad happens I don't think I'll be replacing it at least for 10 years. I typically keep my cars for about 6-7 years and trucks more than 10. My last truck was a 2008 Honda Ridgeline that I owned since day 1.. 250k miles and 16 years later I decided to get something more modern and more fuel efficient.
