Insurance Cost For Your 2024+ Tacoma 4th Gen?

Our 24 WCP was delivered today. So tell me why I just spent 1hr 20 mins on the phone with Progressive and the rep told me they dont have the 2024 models listed in their system.
This was after she asked all the questions and told me there was a $40/month decrease. Puts me on hold then comes back and says the only option is to wait until they update/ approve it or insure it for whats it worth. That number is upwards of $500/ mo. Were about half way thru the year...
Does anyone have insurance with progressive? Has anyone else experienced this?

Trd sport - $184/month in South Carolina it’s actually lower then my third gen but I have hd a lot of stuff on my record. It’s mostly all dropped off now. Rates have come down but not as low as I’d like. It still beats paying $300/month to insure a base model 2nd gen taco. Oh, how I don’t miss those days. Haha

I'm about to pick up my new Tacoma and I couldn't be more excited. I know there's a huge sticker shock but it is what it is. I wanted to ask what people were paying for car insurance. I live in Texas and I just got quoted $251 a month for full coverage (up from $144 on my 2016 Tacoma). Is anyone else seeing this huge increase for car insurance?!

For my Taco Limited and a 2016 Rav 4, we pay $120.00 per month with Geico in Massachusetts. Full coverage with rental, full glass, roadside, 1,000 D. Coverage went up $10.00 from my 2020 Silverado 2500HD Deisel.

Went from 2004 Tacoma TRD at $292.18/6 months to 2024 Trailhunter at $407.62/6 months, which, oddly, is $60 cheaper than the wife's 2021 Rav4Prime, with the same coverages.

I had a bigger jump going from a '19 F150 Platinum to a '23 Kia Sportage Hybrid SXP than I did from the Sportage to the 24 Tacoma Limited. $583 /6 mo. with 2 drivers. $4 per month more than the Kia. I also have multi-vehicle discounts with 2 autos and a motorcycle. This is just for the Taco, though.
