You bet! Yeah, from my math, he sells at cost + $200 or so. Back in 2022 I helped my mother pick up a new RAV4 and the dealer wanted $3,500 for a 10yr/100k. The F&I guy wouldn't go any lower than cost + $500, so we declined and went with Troy. $300 difference doesn't seem like much but the F&I guy was a real jerk to my mother, so it was an easy decline.

yep! A local dealer quoted me $4400 for the 10 year/120000 platinum.

Troy's warranty is a Toyota warranty. Not sure about Canada but it's worth asking him. I don't think you'll find a better price.

I believe he used to many moons ago, but Toyota put a stop to it. Something about Toyota Financial US vs Canada, VINs, and Canada just being difficult in general.

I tried contacting this gentleman multiple times for my wife's RAV4 and was ghosted by him each time...eventually gave up because I didn't want to become an even bigger nuisance.

I don't have a 2024 yet, but was just curious what pricing might be.

I have purchased from Troy twice. One for my current truck and one for my mother's RAV4. I live in Texas and my mother lives in Michigan and had no issues buying from him.

I do recall reading about an owner having an issue with their Toyota dealer in the SET region. Something about Toyota's warranty had to be purchased from within their region, but I am not sure if that was just a sales tactic or if it was fact. Can't hurt to request a quote and ask Troy in the comment section if there are any regional restrictions for purchasing.

I tried purchasing the warranty form Troy, but was told out of state dealers aren't allowed to sell warranties to people in California. If you have a mailing address in any other state, he could still sell you the warranty.

I just asked Jerry Johnson this very question on the phone and the answer is only if Toyota raises the prices. Day old car with 10 miles or 2.99 year car with 35999 miles the price is the same.
