YesThose wheels matte bronze?
Just ordered a set in black.. I’m thinking about switching to Bronze?
My twin!!Nice choice! I also went with the MT SL in the same size, but I went with the Method 703's 17x8.5 +35. Checked with a level, right at 1" of poke from the fender.
RRW replied and changed the order to Bronze ordered Nokian outpost NAT’s 285/70/17’s. (SL 46lbs) Unfortunately the wheels won’t be here until February… that should put me at about 66lbs total wheel and tire weight?Just ordered a set in black.. I’m thinking about switching to Bronze?
When searching for tire wheel combos, poke and weight were priority. I’ll admit this setup has a little more poke than I’d prefer, but I’m happy with it. I believe the 8” wheel width and the tire tread width helped to minimize.
Now the details. The OEM TRD OR wheels with BFG Trail Terrain tires weigh 64 lbs 11 ozs.
The Relations Race Wheels Monoforged RS7-S 17x8 +12 Offset - 18 lbs 14 oz
MT Baja Boss AT 285/70/17 SL 48 lbs. This does not include center caps, which I’m waiting on delivery. Total weight 66 lbs 14 oz. This is actual weight not estimated.
Shout out to my local Discount Tire store….The Baja Boss’ balanced great, 3/4 oz to max 4.5 oz. They roll smooth with a slight hum. I’ve only driven 20 miles on them, but happy with initial ride. One thing I noticed was the lack of gravel they picked up going up and down my 400 yd drive a few times, then out on road with no gravel slinging.
Yes, they will fit. Brake caliper clearance is not an issue. I ran these (1500 mile) on my TrailHunter for a hunting trip in November.Wow. 10 pounds lighter than method 703. Do you think your wheels would fit on a trailhunter?

You’ll feel like you’re driving a race car compared to 93 lb setup.
RRW offers the same wheels with +25 offset.Wow. Got a poke shot? +12 seems super aggressive. The stock TH wheels have +25 and I am on 275s and it has decent poke already. That said the Falken LTs run probably half an inch wider than most tires in that same spec. Your setup looks great— from the first picture the poke looks perfect but can’t tell for sure how much it’s sticking out.
I can’t believe that is less than the stock weight of 73 pounds. Any negative consequences of going lower weight? How does the suspension feel with this setup over rough roads and terrain ?
none that I noticed, it’s the perfect combo IMO. Suspension feels great with this set up. Ride and drive is great. They’d still be on my TH if I hadn’t borrowed them from the TRD OR. In fact, I’ll likely pick up a set for the TH too.I can’t believe that is less than the stock weight of 73 pounds. Any negative consequences of going lower weight? Do you know how much lift is on the PRO and TH versus the Sport and OR? Your truck has the perfect stance.MT-Taco is correct., +25 with 8.5” width is now available At the time I purchased, the +12 17x 8” was the only option. The 8” wheel vs 8.5” makes a slight difference as well.
If I’m not mistaken, the TH wheel is +20? Atleast that’s how mine are stamped.
These are the only pics that might help. Sorry, I don’t have a good straight on picture showing the poke. There was very little difference between the stock tire/wheel
