OEM Bed Cover hits my rear-facing camera (3rd brake light camera)

Does anyone else’s OEM Cover do this? I just finished installing it.

If I adjust the cover rear-ward, my automatic tailgate doesn’t close. It compresses the gasket and “binds” as it thinks it is colliding with an obstical (well, it is lol), which this causes the tailgate to stop and beep and open back up.

Also what’s equally disappointing is that the cover blocks the Bed Camera view.

I wish that was stated somewhere on the Toyota website.

The bed camera sits next to the rear-view mirror camera. There are two in the third brake light.

That interference with the rear view camera is very small. If you really can’t pull the cover even 1/8” back, then my guess is that after a few weeks of driving around and using the cover, it will settle a bit, especially at the point where it folds. That might just give you the tiny bit of grace you need.
