Found the source of sound for my truck. Front passenger side seat belt latch contacting the trim between both doors. This post had me finally look for the cause.
Can you send a picture?

I had that same problem in my Tundra and also now in my 4th gen.

If the latch is turned around it rattles against the door trim, which does not happen when it is turned right way round. It happens easily when releasing the belt and is really annoying. You automatically fix it when you put on your belt, but if there is no one in the passenger seat it happens fairly often. My wife often leaves the passenger belt turned 180 degrees.

Taco Freak- My problem, as well as the original poster's is that it is not the buckle rattling against the hard plastic door trim, because when we buckle it into the receptacle there is still a rattle from the rear pillar area.

OK - so either the belt anchor is not tight, or the trim is not. Either way it seems like time for a dreaded trip to the dealer. Good luck guys.

- EDIT: I didn't read the whole thread and I'm finding out this isn't the fix for your particular issue, but I'm sure would help others. -

This rattle bothered me a lot. I fixed it by tucking the seatbelts on either side into seatbelt clip mounted to the b-pillar and then angling the metal buckle upward. No more annoying rattle. See pic:
