They give a reason? I'm waiting for X4TSs to come available... probably not as close as I'd hoped.

When did you place your preorder? I placed mine 5/1 for the long bed version and it's still pending fulfillment.

I sent them an email on Friday and finally got something other than a canned response:

"The BAK Revolver X4s Tonneau Cover is one of the covers that the platform is changing. Bak is waiting for the new hardware to start production, no estimated shipping time available, I do apologize for the delay."

Considering DM'ing a customer service manager I found on LinkedIn to get better info. Will give it a few more days. Very poor product launch execution.

Nope. No reason. I emailed last week to check on the status again and a few days later got the email saying they were canceling my order. I ordered the sentry ct last night and it’s supposed to ship Thursday. I’m not holding my breath though.

Received another update today... X4s production issues resulting in a delayed release until at least end of June.

Unfortunately have to stick it out because I currently have the BAK-specific Billie bars for the relocated bed rails. Switching to the sentry would require a new set of brackets from Billie bars. I've been using the BAK-specific brackets with the rails NOT relocated and it works fine but is definitely not ideal. Was only supposed to be temporary.

Small rant... I'm surprised the larger established aftermarket companies are so slow to get the popular products out (floor mats, tonneau covers, etc). There was a decent marketing push behind the SEMA Garage Tacoma measuring event and I thought they mentioned companies could have early access to the renders. 5 months later and parts are still barely trickling out. The wait continues...

RealTruck now has the BAK Revolver X4s Tonneau Cover in stock. Ordered 1 this morning and I already have a Tracking #. They also will price match if you find a cheaper price which I did, and they gave me that price no problem.

I should be happy about this news, instead I'm super frustrated. Ordered long bed version 44 days ago and no updates this week.. currently still shows pending fulfillment despite website showing inventory available. Really losing confidence in Realtruck.

Bak X4s finally got delivered last week and installed it over the weekend! I think it took 6-7 weeks after submitting the order in early May.

Fitment is good (it better be), but you can tell the redesigned bed shape near the cabin is giving tonneau cover companies trouble. I'll have to put more effort into sealing the upper corners from the elements. Quality of the cover itself is great and definitely suggests it should hold up well over time.

The bed rack situation is a work in progress. Bak changed mounting design for the X4s and it no longer relocates the bed rails. This has been very confusing because I thought others stated the OEM tri fold is a rebranded Bak cover and those showed relocated bed rails. Causing major issues as I purchased the Bak-specific bed rack brackets expecting to have relocated bed rails. I've been in contact with BillieBar to test a custom bracket/bar setup. Eta on that should be early next week! They've been fantastic to work with. I'll update my build thread once I get it sorted.

Realtruck customer service on the other hand... RB20 Slims arrived today but no update on the mounts that ship separately.. ugh.
