These are pretty fantastic. added to cart!My wife is a petite person so I added these steps for her. They are made by N-Fab and they are a perfect fit. Two nuts and bolts each side and you’re done.

The mounts on the cab will need to be adjustable to level things out (cab is not flat anyway). Along the rail channels the smartcap is about an inch higher in the back but they are level with the center of the cab. You probably want to have a split between the cab and bed anyway to allow for flex. Can the SmartCap run a full roof rack? It looks like the rails are taller than the cab. I really want a full rack.
What I'm thinking of is a platform rack on the shell and a couple of bars on the cab for any long items. But I also want them to be easily removable for when I don't need them.Thats what I thought, i keep looking at these and thinking....is it higher in the back, it doesnt look even. Ok good, i'm glad I didnt go this route.
I'm about to find out how well the Prinsu Pro Top Rack aligns with my Prinsu Pro rack I have over my cab. I'm hopeful that it will align well since Prinsu features the top rack on a smart cap.Can the SmartCap run a full roof rack? It looks like the rails are taller than the cab. I really want a full rack.
I found my answer...For anyone with the Digital Rear View (DRV) mirror and the SmartCap, is there any visibility behind the truck without doing the DRV camera relocation? Pics?
I have a SmartCap and it is awesome. Zero issues and manufactured great.I would really like to purchase this for my Trail hunter, but I have questions about how the back up camera/ 360 camera will be affected since the camera I believe is located in the 3rd brake light. Does anyone have any information on this?
Very nice! Did you have to custom order the white color from SmartCap or did you have it painted?I have a SmartCap and it is awesome. Zero issues and manufactured great.

I’m thinking of getting a smart cap too. Question: my taco has a bit of a cosmetic issue with the plastic bedrail trim is not flush against the sides of the bed - mostly in the corners. I was hoping getting a bed cap will push it down so it looks somewhat flush against the side of the bed. Looks like the smart cap is installed on top of the plastic trim, does it cover the trim entirely? If not does it cover the trim more than half of the trim? I’m hoping the pressure from the installed cap will push down the plastic bed rail trim after installation.![]()
