I’ll try the spare tire switch to see if changes. I’m thinking of attaching my GoPro to undercarriage to see if the drive shaft is vibrating. Arghh

I know what you’re going through … my last truck was a 23 tacoma and I spent hours and hours and days weeks under that truck trying to find the reason for the rough idle and vibrations. Day I traded it in was such a relief

Did you ever figure out your vibration? I have a 2024 off road and it's vibrating too at 90kph and up.... I'm thinking a bad cv or ujoint possibly. I didn't have any vibration for 6000 kms. I think it started after i put it in 4wd for the first time, and that wasn't hard off roading, just wanted to make sure it worked on a sand trail.

Mine was fine until I installed new shocks, only lifted the front 1.5 inches. Anyhow the vibration goes away when in 4hi. Same problems with gen2 and 3 also the same 8 in clamshell from diff. It’s a shame Toyota didn’t fix this with its 4th gen!!! Just search Tacoma ECGS. I have the bushing and install kit and will be installing it next week.
