Toyota employees can place 2024 Tacoma orders starting 12/16

I am a Toyota employee and just got news that we can factory order our new Tacoma on 12/16. Not sure what this means relative to model availability and pricing. Getting close!! My guess is retail orders will be prior to that.

No. We have a company website where we configure our orders. The website just notified us that on 12/16 we can configure orders. Dealers may get ahead of us for stock. I ordered a new sequoia last year and they were available in october I believe, so this is later than normal.

Same here. I have no pricing or spec info. I will let you all know when we get it, but it may already be public.

I am in SoCal and was told by my local dealer that the TRD Pro will MSRP around $60K and they will be selling it $10K above msrp at the start! Who knows if he actually knows this but thats what he said.

I'm guessing that the dealer is hedging with the 60k. That way, if it comes in at 55, you'll be happy. That dealer may well be planning to mark them up 10k, in which case I hope no one buys one from them. (They will, though. Dealers around here are marking up anything people want by $5k, and this will be a VERY popular model.)

Can I ask which dealer? That sounds like a good one to talk to. Though here I thought they couldn’t put on ADM for straight dealer markup, though I could be wrong. There’s still nothing though I don’t think that would prevent a dealer from adding accessories onto every one that comes in.
