My iForce Max makes an identical sound up to/below 20 mph. I was greatly relieved to find it is not a problem, but rather, sounding as designed. Having said that, I hate the noise and will likely look to disable it. Super loud in my parking garage at work.
Any luck disabling the sound?
Now that I'm aware of it, it's all I hear lol

You can disable the speaker, thus disabling the sound. But the only way to do it without triggering multiple warning lights on the dash is to wire in a resistor to the plug that goes to the speaker.

The speaker is located directly centered behind the front grill, mid way up. You need to remove the front bumper to access it. The resistor that works is for sale on amazon here.

I believe there may be a secondary speaker behind the rear bumper for when you are in reverse, but that is much less noticeable and only activated when backing up.

Now be aware, I have not done this mod myself. I was planning to when I installed my winch, but elected to keep the sound due to the danger to pedestrians, and the potential for a lawsuit if I were to hit someone who might be blind or disabled.
