How important do you guys think a regear will be if I go up to 315's? I didn't think about that before when considering my cost.

What’s the diameter ? 35”? One thing about this truck that toyota nailed is this thing doesn’t need a regear on almost any sized tire. It’s that low end electric motor torque hit that accommodates most sizes. And even if you don’t have a hybrid I’m not hearing any issues.

315/70/17 so 34.7" and they're C2's. Hopefully that's what I need.

You’ll be removing those crash plates. But you won’t need a regear. That is my prediction.

Another random question for you @tacorancher. Did you buy a full sized spare when you upgraded? Kinda worried about trying to limp back on the stock spare if I'm going up in size so much... but I know it won't fit under the truck either.

I ended up not going up in size that much - I’m only 0.2” more diameter - so I kept stock spare and original lugs — I also got a sidewall repair kit and a traditional tire repair kit

Fair choice. I'm definitely getting a repair kit. This really makes me reconsider the size increase.
