THANK YOU! I was hoping that there was an adjustment to angle them up more.
Set a "0" is as high as they will go without manual adjustment. It is possible that your headlights came out of adjustment right out of the box.

Hello guys!

Great community here!

Looking into buying a TRD Pro but for inventory reasons am not able to test drive one.

Issue is a family member has a stock 2020 Tacoma Sport with the OEM blue shocks 4x2 and the truck rides very very stiff especially on small imperfections on the road that rattle the whole interior.

Anyone happens to know if this new gen Tacoma in TRD Pro trim is much softer and has less rattles?

Thanks!

JC

I’m really impressed with the way mine rides. I know ppl have complained about interior rattles I have none. I think it’s the best fit and finish of any Toyota I’ve owned. It’s more BMW Than off road truck.

I'm happy with the way it drives other than fuel economy. I dint have any rattles but it's FAAAAAAR from the fit and finish of a BMW. I've owned a few of those and Audi in 2010-2014 models 10 yrs ago and they were light years ahead then. I'd go F150 Lariat fit finish

I'll post some pics as soon as I can.

I haven't taken it out off-roading since the set up, as I had it done just a few weeks ago. However, Jeff Westcott explained that his preload collar is unlike a traditional spacer, in that you retain your factory suspension's geometry and it won't bottom out as easily as you would with a spacer lift.

I too am happy with the way my Pro rides. I have found I like the softest setting for everyday driving around town.

But if you drive fast and break hard it’s a tad soft. So I would probably suggest the medium setting if you are an aggressive driver.

I have not done any extreme off-roading yet or rock crawling. I mostly ride beachs and logging roads. There are no rocks and mountain in my part of the world.

gotchya. I’m gonna probably do what you did then. Wescott lift then the 35’s. Can you post any pics of your set up? I’d love to see. Also any rubbing at full compression or extension? (For off roading purposes)
As promised, my friend, I just now got around to taking some quick pics to show you how it turned out with the Westcott preload collar lift and with the 35" Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my stock TRD Pro wheels.

Unfortunately, I didn't take many before pics. The following were a couple taken by the company that performed the ceramic coating (before the lift and tires). Again, in my opinion, the TRD Pro has a great look / stance straight from the factory. I think the 35s and the small / additional lift just bumped it up a notch.
