I like the honest answer! The 275s are 8 pounds lighter so maybe a little better
Doesn’t help anyone if I lie about it! I was disappointed at first, but I’ve gotten used to it. It’s a truck and not my daily driver.

Are you able to get any photos down the side of the truck to show the poke? Just curious how that +3 offset looks against the flares, bumpers, etc. The build looks awesome!

I agree with the. Its a truck. In my opinion we buy these trucks, some do all these mods , however are so worried about milage, weight…scratches. On, on. And yet wanting to conquer mountains and mud slop…….lol. I was thinking today, the skinny mudflap complint…yes agree toyota cheaped out…however the moment you take truck off pavement with pretty method wheels and hit mud overspray and put the badge of honer mud and dirt on truck doors…youve already scratched it, so have fun drive as its built, not for just looks….forget about memory seats, and ceramic coatings….. the OP said it right, its a truck.

@TRD_Patty Nice looking truck. Mostly what im going to be going for. Do you have a side profile shot of your running boards?

Ideally I would want my same D6 boards about 1-2 inches forward to get them more centered on the truck at the doors. However looking at my picture below,(front driver mud flap is pictured in left corner) you can see the corner of the rhino board hits\rubs against the frame here. So i cant\dont want to really come up any further.

Can you show me the picture of yours? Both a full encompassing shot of the side of your truck as well as what this specifically looks like on the corner of your running board behind the drivers front tire?

There are 3 nuts you need to get to under the hood, you need to take the whole scoop off and then separate the two halves. The hood scoop that is sold is just the top half. Reinstall it on the lower plastic piece and re install.
Whats the part number for the hood scoop? Also if I want to swap the fenders with a black color I can find them?

A little update since a lot has happened since my last update.

TRD Pro fenders arrived and I realized the front bumpers are different, so i got the TRD Pro front bumper on order. The rear ones fit without any modification.

- Installed the TRD Pro exhaust
- wrapped the roof and mirror caps gloss black.
- Installed the gloss black TRD Pro hood scoop.
- Installed side steps
- installed tonneau cover

You can see here the front TRD pro fenders leave a gap but otherwise look great. It does look like ill need to use a wheel spacer to move to about a 0 offset afterward to keep the fitment.

Thanks for posting this; I was curious to see how much extra tire you get from the front with the factory viper cut bumpers, it doesn't look like a massive amount, but also not peanuts. Might consider the mod one day.

A bit of an update….its been a while.

Decided instead of just going with a wescott kit I would do the suspension right, I haven’t been a fan of the stock sport suspension and found it to be very chattery both on and off road. I went with an icon stage 5 kit, and their triple rate rear springs. It has been an awesome upgrade and the truck feels so much better.

Hello, question about the Pro Fender flares, do those already come gloss finish?

I need to replace one of my Pro Fender flares and the dealer says it comes unfinished....but funny enough did confirm that the Trail Hunter has a different part number for it.

Your dealer is mistaken, the pro fenders come pre painted gloss black

Thank you for confirming. Yeah I figured the parts guy was only reading what the computer was telling him as "unpainted" as they don't stock this item to visually see... As soon as he did say the TH part # was different than the Pro part # I knew one was glossy and the other was not.
