Hello to everyone!

I just picked up my 4WD double cab SR5 late last month. I’m loving this truck so far! I also have an 02 Tacoma with around 306K miles on it. Happy to be here and talk about our trucks!

Underground TRD OR w/ black roof & A-pillars (vinyl wrapped) + BFG KO2s in 285/70R17

Loving the truck so far. Added console vault, ceramic tint on all windows, black chrome on exhaust, gloss black vinyl wrap on roof and A pillars, and BFG KO2s in 285/70R17.

Rough Country power steps will be installed on wed and bakflip MX4 on pre-order.

Had a snow storm that unexpectedly dumped 8-10 inches last week and no issues for the truck.

Hi everyone, got my 4th gen about 3 weeks ago and so far this is what I’ve done!

I’m running Toyo Open Country M/T 295/70/17 tires (33.5") on a Method 305 double black wheel.

Right now I’m solid at 17.5-18.5mpg, engine runs just fine with the tires and turbo doesn’t seem overly stressed.

No lift yet, will have a peak suspension lift in a few days hopefully. But even with my 33.5” mud tire I have pretty much no rubbing.

Prinsu roof rack up top with some cheap gun cases bolted down to store my fishing rods and that’s about it for now.

I’ve also got a paint correction and ceramic coating due to it just being absolutely thrashed after it showed up at the dealership. Love the truck so far, if you want to see more of my truck check out my Instagram @sethrobinett23!

When searching for tire wheel combos, poke and weight were priority. I’ll admit this setup has a little more poke than I’d prefer, but I’m happy with it. I believe the 8” wheel width and the tire tread width helped to minimize.

Now the details. The OEM TRD OR wheels with BFG Trail Terrain tires weigh 64 lbs 11 ozs.

The Relations Race Wheels Monoforged RS7-S 17x8 +12 Offset - 18 lbs 14 oz
MT Baja Boss AT 285/70/17 SL 48 lbs. This does not include center caps, which I’m waiting on delivery. Total weight 66 lbs 14 oz. This is actual weight not estimated.

Shout out to my local Discount Tire store….The Baja Boss’ balanced great, 3/4 oz to max 4.5 oz. They roll smooth with a slight hum. I’ve only driven 20 miles on them, but happy with initial ride. One thing I noticed was the lack of gravel they picked up going up and down my 400 yd drive a few times, then out on road with no gravel slinging.

I thought I may have made a mistake going with 285/75R17 Toyo Open Country III but I couldn’t be happier!

- Method 703 8.5 X 17 with +35 setback
- Westport 2 1/2” front 3/4” rear lift part # 35111
- Endless Mountain Motors (Westcott affiliate) installed and Fluid Film rust proofed. Great Bend , PA
