Hey guys! I’m currently on 4000 miles on a SR5 Taco from the Mexico factory. Yesterday, I was at oem audio + getting R&D done, they added new tweeters and speakers for now. Just today I’m hearing a vibration noise from the rear of the cab at low speeds such as under 8 MPH. Not sure if it has anything to do the speakers since I tried it with audio off and I can stilll hear/feel this vibration. Anyone else have had the same issue? Bringing it into Toyota Monday.

So no vibration before someone touched it but now you have vibration. Might want to take it back to whoever messed with it or leave out that part if you take it back to the dealer. Also there are 2 factories that make the Taco...both in Mexico.

Obviously I’ll leave that part out but only the speakers on the door panels have been changed so far. It feels like rumbling almost which is so strange

Could you possibly be getting some subwoofer feedback? Can you get an SR with a sub?

No sub yet, they’re still scanning the floor and etc, we’re not close to that part of development. Just tweeters and speakers currently

Mine does this as well. Low speeds I’ll get a vibration coming from the rear. Kinda like a mild shudder, no idea what’s causing it . Some days doesn’t do it other days will do it a few times it’s very mild though but noticeable . My truck has 300 miles on it. Not really a big deal but deff curious what’s causing it. What did the dealer say?

Hey guys.. just got my 24 sr5.. about 400 miles.. it was driving me crazy at 2 grand on the tac my left rear door was going crazy... door panel is bad design the center has plastic rivets looking style in the middle of the door ... I put dynamat all under it the best I could ... panel was resonating from the exhaust... I actually work on toyotas .. so try to tap on the door and see if this is your problem...

This issue just popped up on my Trailhunter. Probably started at around 7,000 miles. It sounds like it’s coming from the passenger side rear door area. Only does it at very low speeds in either forward or reverse. It kind of sounds like a twig stuck in a brake rotor or something, except it’s coming from inside the cab. It doesn’t do it all the time. But it does happen most of the time.

Anyone solve this one?

7K on a '24 TH. you've been glued to that seat my friend. Anything else going on with that TH for the OG crew to know about?

That sounds like something rubbing somewhere in the drivetrain, but why would you hear it coming from inside the cabin?

That one should test out the skills of your dealer's techs. Good luck.

Haha actually I just passed 8,000 in less than 3 months. I drive a lot for work, and after getting the truck I’ve done a lot of personal stuff too. Will probably start to slow down.

No serious issues to speak of. I’ve been watching the transmission very closely given the issues. There’s been a couple awkward shifts but nothing too concerning. I opted for a 6 yr, 125k platinum warranty at purchase just because I don’t trust it yet.

I’m getting about 19.5 mpg. And yeah, I suspect that I’m in the top 1% of Trailhunters for miles driven.
