Still sitting for another 2 weeks while I wait on PPF appointment. Ordered Dr. Colorchip kit for transport chips on rear spoiler. Scheduled PDR for a ding, also courtesy of transport. Truck rear must have been facing transport truck front.

Installed the Baja Designs Squadron Pro ditch light kit, and used the Baja Designs upfitter harness for the Tacoma which makes it super easy. These things are bright, just have to wait till it gets dark to adjust them.

Bought her some new wheels! Of course the typical Methods, nothing too unique. But, it's an amazing style for thes trucks and comes in some good offsets. These are the +35 17x8.5s 703s.

Will mount them with 285/70 or 75s, still undecided at the moment. Leaning towards the 75s.

Still going to run dedicated snow tires for this winter on the OEM wheels. Save these big beasts for the spring/summer/fall. Even though a lot of the ATs are "3 peak" rated, I still don't think I can live without my dedicated Blizzaks in the area I live in.

So far, (small) added the console tray and console "hidden compartment" in the lid to help with organization, seeing as how the storage in these trucks is not great. Also did ceramic coating/tint and added the GoRhono D6 Dominator Runnig Boards

Did you have any issues getting this done? I'm thinking about doing it myself vs paying $1,400 for a professional, but I'm concerned about messing it up. Have you done it before or was this your first time? I've done multi-step prep/wax before, but never ceramic.

I've done it 4 times before. No issues with doing it. It is very time consuming though. Make sure you do it on a cool day with good sunlight/ lighting. You need to buff off the excess ceramic coat or it will show high areas. Heat will make the ceramic coat seal unevenly. Shade will hide the high spots before you can buff them out. Id just watch a few YouTube videos of the ceramic coat of your choice. Start with the tailgate and go from there.

Thanks for the tips. I live in a forest, so I wouldn't do it outdoors (tree debris, and dust). It would be in my garage, which this time of year would be in the 50's and 60's. I figure even if the supplies cost a couple hundred $$ it would still be worth my time to do it myself, as long as I can get it done right.
