Tacoma 2024 TRD Sport, nothing extra, reset 2 weeks ago the MPG from the dealer, I am still getting 16 mpg, wtf??? shouldn't be at least 20 mpg?
This has been my experience as well, I don't think Toyota had their best and brightest designing this truck :). I do think they designed this with alternative fuel/drivetrains in mind. The size of the tank, terrible efficiency...almost seems like the ICE drivetrain was not the ultimate goal. Toyota is obviously more capable than this.

Iā€™ve been reading this thread so I rechecked mine yesterday. I drove home from Nashville on regular gas doing between 75 and 80 miles an hour and got 21.3 miles per gallon. I filled up with 93 octane and Iā€™ll let you know how I do on that one. The only modification that matters is I remove the air dam day one.

If you drive it really slow youā€™ll get that 20 plus but letā€™s face it that turbo is hard to not let loose
Yeahā€¦ slow like as in donā€™t touch the gas pedal and let gravity do its job šŸ˜‚

You need the turbo in order to get the thing to accelerate like a normal vehicle, it's not like you're in the turbo because you're pushing it...the truck relies on it pretty heavily.
