Wind noise??

I have a 24 off road premium that has a sunroof and the new factory roof rack, looks like it’s meant for over landing. I hear a lot of wind noise at highway speeds and wanna make sure it’s from the roof rack and not the sunroof. I’m getting the roof rack removed once they get the parts in to replace it.

can anyone with just a sunroof let me know if they have wind noise or is it pretty quiet

No noticeable wind noise from closed moonroof. OEM roof rack has many noise complaints from 4runner owners and looks pretty similar. That's why I ordered Westcott Designs instead of OEM.

FWIW

i did all 4 doors at the seal around the entire door with Taco marine 3/8 x 5/8 D shaped - did great

back window seal rubber on mine, both sides didn't seal against the glass well. the pic shows some painters tape on the area. been testing and made a big difference. haven't figured out a long term fix yet.

yes - with the tape on can't roll down window - its just there now as i test more

Isn't there a TSB or something about wind noise and the factory rack?

Someone should have to make these defects up! We work and pay for these things, they are not free!
