Window Rattle - Premium vs Non Premium Trims

Looking to get some feedback from those with a premium trim Tacoma. Seems like the window rattle issue while the window is cracked is pretty common, however, I’m wondering if this issue exists in the premium trims with the thicker acoustic glass. I understand you can mitigate the issue by applying felt to the back of the triangle window trim piece but curious if it’s truly because the standard window is too thin for the rubber trim.

It may be a loose door striker plate. Check that.

Good to know, thanks. I guess I’ll have to felt the window trim piece. Kind of crazy this has been an issue with Tacoma’s for years now. An otherwise very solid truck. Interesting

I personally haven’t had this issue on any of my trucks 09 sport 18 sport or my 25 pro, but I’m willing to remove that piece of trim and see if I have some of the spacing shown in the fix thread, however I’m not sure when I’ll get the time for it, hopefully before the weekend

Got some time to rip a piece of trim off and put some electrical tape on the rear seat catches and this is what it looks like on my pro
