Are those OEM mud flaps?
Thanks. Should have read from the beginningThese are the ARK flaps
Saw this video, seems like they are pretty close. What’s so weird to me is people say the KO3 rides like trash. And then people say the same about the Falken. Then other people say the opposite. It’s probably a variety of factors including suspension and manufacturing variables .. but fuck if I cannot get a consistent trend on which tire is smoother/ better. Tire rack and DT websites have them really close but KO3 on top - but I think there’s a conspiracy and BFG pays people to give good reviews lol. There’s a good YouTube video of a guy testing both in E load with his Porsche cayenne and he says both are great:

Agree that there are so many factors that impact ride feel. 5-6 PSI difference can make the car feel completely different. I am 90% KO3's at this point.
Do your 275/70/18 KO3's have the raised white lettering on both sides or just one? I can't seem to find any (through discount tire or anywhere online) in that size that don't have the raised white lettering. If it's on one side, guessing I can just have the lettering on the inside. Not as dramatic/extreme as it was with the 285’s. Much less vibration and noise.
I believe it’s on one side. I didn’t ask them to, but they installed it with the white on the inside. Kinda wish it was on the outside thoDo your 275/70/18 KO3's have the raised white lettering on both sides or just one? That looks good. Does it use turbo more heavily at highway cruising speeds?I believe it’s on one side. I didn’t ask them to, but they installed it with the white on the inside. Kinda wish it was on the outside tho
I wish I knew. I had them swapped first week. That looks good. Does it use turbo more heavily at highway cruising speeds?

They look awesome, good choice. Really fills out the space better.Went with the Falken Wildpeak AT4W in 275/70/18. For my setup at least, this is as big as I can go before I hit rubbing. And the size looks appropriate and plenty meaty. They ride very smooth. Shockingly smooth for an E load but still firmer than OEM. I will play with the PSI to see if I can smooth it out. Currently at 40. Falken said to run 39. I may try 37 given the fact that 39 is rated for over 2,000 pounds and I don't need that.
I can certainly feel the extra rotational weight. I think acceleration is where I feel it the most. But for the off-road toughness and extra size, it's worth it for me. The tires are about 0.8" taller than the old ones when inflated. The old ones sagged because they are so soft. Ground clearance is up by 0.4" and I can tell.
