I couldn’t find it on Amazon so I ordered it through your site today. Looking forward to testing it out!

Moment it was on preorder I got it. Hoping to see the wires for Blackvue soon
I'll check with my team to see how fast we can do it. I could actually send you the hacked-together one I used in my demo vids... it's basically a USB-C PD plugged soldered onto the Blackvue's original plug. What model do you have?

PS I'm no longer a fan of blackvue because I met them at SEMA and they weren't friendly at all... my product conflicts with their Official Installer services so I guess I'm not surprised. Funny thing is they don't realize the fuseboxes are covered up on ALL the new Toyota trucks.

Ugh, that stinks! I was really hoping to be able to use this to install my BV. I guess I’ll just have to do some hacky soldering too… I’m really not willing to deal with the fuse box situation. :-/

Any plans for an adapter to power a uniden radar detector? They use weird RJ11 (i think??) plugs for some reason unkonwn to me. wouldnt really need parking mode but it does seem more reliable than me doing a wire tap!

@timetoeatpotatoes Yeah. So we don't have a Uniden on hand (we use to sell Radenso though) but we had a user test an RJ11 radar using this cable. It worked fine. The Bronco guys like this solution from Stickerfab, who also sells some of our stuff. Problem is that the cables are really long.

Hypothetically I'd probably recommend wiring it up separately since you have ignition switched connectors both under the mirror and in the domelight cavity (the blank OEM connector meant for dashcams). With the Dongar PRO kit you could use the 10-pin connector to power your dashcam and then take the included spare 5-pin cable and splice it to an RJ11 to power the radar.

Or if you're feeling spendy, you could run two Dongar PROs!

I got the DR970X-2CH LTE Plus (NA)
I’m always down to wait for your team to put one together. Or I start practicing soldering more. I went full send on the fuse taps until I got to the fuse box and there’s no space LOL.
Also sucks you had to deal with them not being so friendly

Got my Dongar Pro in the mail today and it looks great! Like the previous poster, I am also looking to power a Uniden radar detector in addition to a dash cam which takes a mini usb. My intention is to power the camera off the adapter's usb output, and then splice a RJ11 into the harness which inputs to the Dongar adapter. Do the red, yellow, and black wires correspond to battery 12v, ignition 12v, and ground respectively?

Thanks!

@ramble22 yes that's right. The 4G Tacoma Limited can use both the 10p and 5p harnesses included in the Dongar box. I would suggest using one of them for the dashcam and then repurposing the other to splice in your radar. This will give you more overhead to the fuse rating because they are on different fuses.
