After having patiently waited (as many here have), I am very happy to now have my first Tacoma---- feel fortunate that at least Toyota still offers the option for the 2-dr. cab / 6-ft. bed configuration. Also, thanks very much to everyone for all the information provided here---- your posts were extremely helpful while going through the research/learning phase of the process.

I wish the Off Road was offered in an extended cab 6ā€™ as was my Gen 2ā€™s. The additional 18ā€ of wheelbase on my Gen 4 makes navigating in tight on and off road spaces feel bus like. There are some advantages to the 4 door but Iā€™ll go back to an extended cab when and if they become available.

Nice looking rig!

Man, Iā€™m really thinking about the PreRunner, let me know how it is day to day from a storage standpoint accessing behind the front seats.

If it was available as a manual Iā€™d definitely be all over it. I like the 6ā€™ bed and probably could use the LSD to get out of anything I need to get out of.
