I have a genuine question and would like a genuine guess. How much do you guys think the Trailhunter will cost? Cause I’m debating between a Trailhunter or a Tundra 4x4.

MSRP will not matter for the first year at least since these will be in such high demand you're paying a mark up no matter what. If you're just price shopping the Tundra is going to make more sense. If you need the latest and greatest (or if you just don't want something Tundra sized like me) I think the TH is going to be one badass machine. My bet is the hybrid performance is going to be the real story for the 4G.

Well fantastic. I didn’t get one like that yet. But the fact remains you’re paying msrp and not getting a discount. If I had that build I could get 2k off it. Very simple.

also make sure you factor in doc fee. Some states are $1000. I’m at 464. We also have free Toyota care. The setf dealers charge $699.

If you head over to Leasehackr you will see the countless people James has hooked up with incredible deals over the years. Dealing with a broker may not be for you, and that's fine, but they were able to get me 11% off MSRP on my last BMW when the best any local store could do was 5% off.

as of a couple months ago Toyota changed it to tsrp, or total suggested retail pricing. Semantics as everyone that says msrp still includes factory and port installed options at that price. He should be saying base msrp to be technically correct in the auto world. Base msrp is bare bones from the factory which I’ve never gotten. Everything I get in the northeast has at the very least winter floor mats.

regardless I’m at tsrp -$2000 while every other dealer is tsrp or above in the country. Still haven’t seen one discount yet, at least not advertising as such.

You’re wrong. Here’s a sticker. Base msrp is what you mean to say but didn’t. Options have always been included in msrp, just not base msrp. Tsrp is base msrp+ options+delivery/processing.
