4k miles: Grille shutter, Drive start control, check engine light, system malfunction

I was on a road trip and started my car after filling gas. The check engine, grille shutter, drive start control, and system malfunction lights alerts went off. I check my grille shutters and they were open. I ended up driving the car home with no issues or limp mode. The only thing that didn't work was the cruise control and active lane assist.

Supreme Toyota in Hammond told me there were similar issues with the 2022 tundra when it came out and they think they know the fix. They placed me in a new loaner car and have been fantastic so far.

I've had no issues prior to this and am loving the truck. Hope there is a fix soon.

Does your VIN start with 3TM or 3TY? I have this theory that seems to be leaning towards being true.

Welp I figure my 3TY early release will fail here soon.

Good that it doesn’t go into limp mode and the only negative is the adaptive cruise and lane assist which I turn off anyways.

Mine so far has lasted little longer. Also found the sensor from a video posted. Made sure was clipped in all the way

Yes, Supreme Toyota is where I bought my truck and where I am getting the work done. The only car they had available is a 2024 Corolla hybrid which they are providing free of charge.

Like mentioned above. Has anyone unhooked this connector and put some dielectric grease in it? I know we shouldn't have too on brand new vehicle but mines suppose to show up next week and I'll probably do that.

Anyone know which connector it is in question? I'm assuming it's that little bullet looking sensor inside the lower grille?

Be nice to fix myself instead of waiting on a dealer fix and probably having to fight them over getting a rental.
