Should be bolts in the frame protecting the bolt holes already. Take those out, place tube steps, put bolts back in to hold them.

Thanks for letting me know that, I don't have access to specialty equipment or an easy way to get the vehicle higher to access the underside but it sounds like it can be done!I just installed oem tube steps on my 2024 SR. I took about an hour in my driveway. I would say it's a 1.5 out of 10, pretty easy. With a second pair of hands it would be a 1. Tools needed: #12 socket and a torque wrench. Space is very limited for a few of the bolts.
I have attached oem install instructions. Also a few pics. I installed oem hard tonneau cover yesterday, also pretty easy Install, just needed my wife to hold the 4 anchor bolts while I tightened bolts under the cover.
I got a $25 dollar torque wrench from Amazon and put a large piece of cardboard down and had plenty of space to move around under the truck. I'm 6 foot 240# for reference. Cardboard also protected steps while getting them in place on the two anchor bolts.
