Hybrid Tacoma TRD Sport in Blue Crush

What is the tire size? Do you plan to lift?I haven't seen this combo yet on a BCM 4th Gen so here's mine. Tires were put on 4/25 through Discount Tire; also found it was a few hundred cheaper to buy from them on DT's website instead of in person; they originally quoted me about $1600 and I paid about $1300 with no trade ins.
Stock suspension - no lift/spacers
Yes. The Tundra TPMS sensors were recognized by the the Tacoma. You can have the 4G Taco scan TPMS sensors in one of the menus located in the dash. Took about 10-15 minutes of driving, and the sensors registered.Did the original TPMS on the 20” Tundra rims work on the Tacoma ? (This will help if I want to find a set of take offs or not!)
Thanks
Thanks ! Looks like I’ll be looking for a set of late model tundra take offs!Yes. The Tundra TPMS sensors were recognized by the the Tacoma. You can have the 4G Taco scan TPMS sensors in one of the menus located in the dash. Took about 10-15 minutes of driving, and the sensors registered.
285-70/17's.. and not really. Maybe a spacer lift but I don't plan on properly lifting it until the stock struts go bad. I don't off road but maybe once every few months; stock suspension works fine for me and gives me plenty of clearance. What is the tire size? Do you plan to lift?
Did you just do the "tire set switching" and then "register new value id" and select set 2 and drove and the truck picked them up? The manual calls for a "change wheel" setting and unfortunately there is no option i can find in my 4G Tacoma that says that ahah.Yes. The Tundra TPMS sensors were recognized by the the Tacoma.
