Yea I definitely didn't buy the hybrid version for mileage. The power was the main reason, I'm coming from a 96 4Runner and an 05 WRX anything over 20mpg is great for me! Especially on a truck running 33s.

I definitely do not drive super crazy but I don't hyper mile. I think I've only used eco once or twice honestly.

When I first got the truck yea I was only getting around 17 ish.

I get up to 32.2 on non hybrid. But, I also probably driver further. Distance has a lot to do with the mileage.

50/50 really. I drive 30 miles to work one-way. This includes neighborhoods, interstate, and city driving. Interstate is about 12 miles, but city driving is still pretty good if I time red-lights well. My best mileage is 32.2, I regularly get 30. The absolute least i get is 27 if i get all the redlights. I also drive like an old man, because well, I'm a boomer lol.

I have a hard time believing anybody is actually getting 30mphj(hybrid or non), manually calculating tank after tank. It's easy to look at the console when the numbers show what you want to believe but unless you're calculating manually it doesn't mean $h!t. Please post manually calculated mileage to prove me wrong, 'cause I'd love to be wrong about this!

900 miles in, 20.0mpg exactly. Was hoping for better. It is very hilly where I live though.

I did notice highway driving helps a ton, which I’ve been avoiding during the break-in period.

When I hit 1,000 miles, I’m gonna start pushing her a little so the mpg isn’t likely to improve lol

Side note I calculated the first 4 tanks of gas the correct way (not using the Toyota infotainment for the "trip" calculation on a single trip). There is literally no discernable difference between eco, normal and sport. +/- 1 MPG on any given tank no matter what mode it is in for the entire tank (yes I drove an entire tank) just to see the difference.
Honestly the best use of Eco I have found is that it takes the A/C chill down a notch when it's doing TOO good a job lol

There are guys in the non hybrid thread getting 30 so I wouldn’t get so excited. Personally I don’t and only get 19 but there are plenty that are getting 30, at least so they claim.
Not average, but possible on flat stretches of road.

Because the range estimator is ass.

Its probably my only gripe with these trucks so far. For example, mine always show 287 at fill up. I haven't gotten less then 330
It’s not a range estimator like the way we think of range estimators. It’s not showing you miles to empty. In truth no cars really work like that, they always hold back a little in reserve. But Toyota goes way over the top with their reserve. The miles shown is showing (roughly) how many miles until there is 15% left in the tank, based off a bunch of factors.

So yeah, ass.

This is for anyone saying the Hybrids aren't worth it as they don't get betr mpg!

(Yes I was in sport and manual mode when I took the picture! I was waiting at a busy intersection waiting to turn on a red light)

This was my average trip mileage driving around town running errands with my daughter yesterday. 26.6mpg! I'll totally take that!

Forgot to say in love in the Denver metro area not some little town so I was in stop and go traffic getting this!

Start a Fuelly log and see where it stands after a couple of months. There's only af few '24s and no hybrids.

3000 miles and 17.2 total average MPG. It hasn't changed in a couple hundred miles. Mix of highway, around town, and off road. Lots of hills and winding roads. 285/70 KO3's. Can't seem to train my foot any better.
