I had the front lower spring adapters and rear one inch spacers from Peak installed earlier this week. The truck cap and gear in the bed were weighing down the truck a little, and this seems to have fixed that for me. The front and rear are lifted about an inch with this setup.

Hey guys (@Peak Suspension ).
Hope all is well.

We've touched base a few times over the past month or so on your lift kit for the Trailhunter. Just touching base again per your request, been 2 weeks again.

We're still trying to nail down a TrailHunter and it looks like we have one scheduled to come in next month.

Unfortunately, we cannot rely on outside sources for test fitting and R&D

We hope to be able to confirm all this soon

Thank you,

Aren’t you limiting factory suspension travel and firming up the ride quality with these type of aftermarket kits?

Hey guys,
Hope all is well.

Touching base with you. We messaged throughout last month about you guys finalizing a full Trailhunter lift. Last you guys messaged, you said you'd have something this month. Since it's the middle of the month, I figured I'd touch base and see what you guys put together for it.

Not really, we use a 2 piece kit to spread the lift between the collar and top mount. This way it keeps the shock shaft in relatively the same position.

We also are a little more conservative with our lift heights than other brands which is why our ride quality is virtually indistinguishable from stock.

We finally tested it, and as suspected it fits fine. You just have to remove the factory spring seat with the hydrobump provision.

Our next run of spring spacers will be including a provision for hydrobumps as well so you get the lift without sacrificing function.

2024 Toyota Tacoma Trailhunter, 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee (very modified!)
My Trailhunter is being modified for SAR work. Just recalculated the estimated increased static load in front from bumper and winch - 235 lbs. Increased load in rear (Leitner rack, boxes, Decked with CargoGlide, rescue and personal gear, fluids, etc.) is 760.

I could use some expert advice on a solution to bring it back to par... Any ideas? Dobinsons does have some springs that work but I must go light in the rear or heavy... my load is in between.

NOTE: I am still waiting on a compatible bed stiffener from Leitner that will work with their ACS Forged. Don't want to damage the bed on my new truck with all the weight from mods!

@Peak Suspension is the 2.25” a true 2.25” lift? Do you have before and after measurements?
Yes it is a true a 2.25" lift increase. We do all measurements before and after before ever releasing a product.

That being said, there are variables with the hybrid for example that add additional weight that could affect final lift heights but we just built one in the shop and it was the same

As stated before, if you remove the factory spring perch and replace with our spacers, you can get 1" or 2" on your TrailHunter. We just built built one with a bedrack and RTT with gear and it looks great.

I have the sway bar disconnect and I’m hearing if you do a lift the drive shaft hits the sway bar. Do you know if this is true?
