GM has been using the same 2.7L in their full size trucks since 2019...not brand new or unproven.I don't know... First of all, you can easily get the GM Twins into the 60K range with options, and the material quality, etc.. are not the best. Not to mention, the 23 is a brand new, unproven engine that is a 2.7l 4cylinder tuned out to the max (So much so that GM extends to warranty to 100K because people were nervous). A Ranger Lariat comes in at right around the same price (and specs) as a Tacoma Limited. To be fair, we don't know where the TH or TRDPro is going to start price wise. I'm sure you'll be able to option them out to some pretty high numbers. Now, if dealers would stop adding ADM, etc... to these vehicles we'd be in a better place.
