Exactly. You also get the HUD and the running boards. I’m not sure if the suspension is different though. I thought one of the reviews I watched said the Limited has some tweaks that improved the ride.
AVS will be available on the Limited and I bet a lot will be configured with it.

I don't know... First of all, you can easily get the GM Twins into the 60K range with options, and the material quality, etc.. are not the best. Not to mention, the 23 is a brand new, unproven engine that is a 2.7l 4cylinder tuned out to the max (So much so that GM extends to warranty to 100K because people were nervous). A Ranger Lariat comes in at right around the same price (and specs) as a Tacoma Limited. To be fair, we don't know where the TH or TRDPro is going to start price wise. I'm sure you'll be able to option them out to some pretty high numbers. Now, if dealers would stop adding ADM, etc... to these vehicles we'd be in a better place.
As far as I am concerned I priced a fully loaded build for the ZR2 with every option for 51.5K including shipping, 50K without. That’s far from $60K.
I am talking about every package and tech options I could find (convenience package, tech package, Bose speakers, etc.). This includes features the Tacoma does not have such as memory seats, and dual diff locker etc. Maybe I missed one option?

I am not talking about the $20K of accessories you can add like on every build and price for any truck.

So my comment still stands, even if I missed a $500 option it’s still far far out.
Maybe you refer to the GMC version? That’s a really poor deal because it costs much more than the Chevy for the exact same truck except 1 or 2 useless feature. It’s not like on the full size where you get a completely different interior by going GMC. The canyon is such a poor deal I would rather get the over priced Tacoma over an overpriced GMC.

The Ranger Lariat is actually cheaper than the limited, but I agree it’s clearly is a poor deal, considering you get a fully loaded Raptor for $6K more.

I'm surprised you can get the SDM just about stand-alone, but the simple brake controller and aux switches require a minimum of a $4625 upgrade package. Even on the SR5, its a #4k package to get a brake controller.

I think the Canyon has a better interior over the Colorado and I feel it look more luxurious than the Taco. While the Denali comes in at the same price as the Limited , the Taco is considerably under powered without the hybrid power train, which will probably add another $3-4k. I'm also seeing some nicely discounted Chevy/GMC online, which is something else to factor in. The Taco wins in look though and the reliability and resale value can't be overlooked. Definitely not going to be as easy to decide as I hoped. :/

Right. The only thing that does not make me instantly order a ZR2 and wait for missing info (Trailhunter price, Hybrid engine actual MPG, payload…) before deciding is the resale value. If the Trailhunter impresses on the above numbers, I could still be tempted. If not, then no reason to fork 10-15K over even if ZR2 resale wont be as good.

Can you specify what discount do you see on the ZR2? That;s interesting

I was just doing nationwide searches (autotrader) on the Denali and AT4 to see what kind of discounts some were offering. Looks like a few ZR2 available with similar pricing.

Canyon definitely has some nice features. I like the exterior a lot..especially the grill. But if I’m spending 50k on a truck I‘d rather take my chances with Toyota. But the more I look at the Canyon the more I like it lol.

Does anyone know what the "mud guards" are exactly in the package options? Honestly I think its ridiculous that it is tied in with packages instead of sold as an accessory, it makes the packages way more confusing on the build configurator.

They are mud guards. I think the only model I have seen it as a stand alone item is the limited. You can always buy them from the parts counter.

I've always called them mud flaps, so I didn't know if "mud guard" was something special I haven't heard of. I'm curious how they look, I don't think it've seen a truck with them installed. Anyways, the fact that you can get them from the parts counter is why it's so strange they are part of the packages and not accessories.

They should look like this.

I got one more year to pay off my Tremor so gonna wait this out till then but waiting for Ford to come out with the 2.7 ecoboost early next year on the new Ranger. It seems so far, the new Ranger has the best gas milege since NO Taco owner will be driving the truck with the fugly plastic skirt on the front (removal will probably drop gas milege by a gallon or so).

The Canyon Elevation comes with 2 inch suspension lift, plethora of options and the high torque 2.7 turbo comes out at $43K vs bone stock '24 off-road Tacoma ($45k on the website).

The only thing that sways me in favor of Taco is their resale value (vs twins and Ford). But the more I look at the Canyon Elevation, the more appealing it gets.

But either way, spending $50k (inc tax and dealer fees) for a mid size truck may be the new standard now..
