Those "fang lights" looks wicked cool. I almost bought a set but then I came across another design. Now I'm conflicted on which one to get. 🤔

I love that design too, kinda sad I didn't come across it when window shopping. They definitely look just as good!

Just installed these and came to figure out if anyone knows what wires to TTap into.

I have a signal wire, which I already tapped into, but now I'm left with a wire for low beams and a wire for DRL.

Playing around with the headlight wiring I was only able to find one singular wire that provided power to the aftermarket lights but that were stays hot as long as the vehicle is in ACC or started. So for now I just tapped into that using the DRL wire on the aftermarket lights so I still get the cool sweeping startup, but I would like to wire it correctly

I just had these installed. Do you by chance know how to have just the amber lights display and not the white?

You'd probably have to mess with the control box, I thought about it myself today funny enough.

The box controls the sweeping animation, if you could somehow find out how to solder some wire to have it stay solid maybe but that's definitely above my pay grade lol

Actually maybe not, I've never actually tried to wire the signal light into the low beam headlight. It may just do the sweeping animation once and then stay solid amber.

Bumping this thread to see if anyone has info on exactly which wires to tap to get these fang lights working? I have a Limited with the OEM LED turn signals, and it's not clear at all which lines to tap. Still waiting on someone to show precisely which wires contain the DRL, fog, and turn signals outputs.

Alternately, if someone has access to the Toyota wiring diagrams/plugs for the headlights, I could figure it out. It's insane that Toyota charges a fee to access this info for like 72 hours.

Seen these on a Tundra TRD Pro around town ~ a little more subtle with thinner light bars, feels a bit more OEM. Anyone see anything similar for the Tacoma?

I went ahead and removed the bumper - again - to install the fang lights. This is the physical install. I left the wiring to be done later, once we figure out the correct place to tap into the stock wiring harness. Note that I zip-tied the plugs to existing wiring so its easy to access once it's all back together.

A couple of observations: I don't think you can do this install without removing the bumper. The stock inserts have very stiff tabs, and the mounting points are fragile. I would advise against trying to pry this out from the outside. Bumper removal isn't that hard, took about 10 minutes the second time. FYI.

Bought the L2R brand from Amazon. Haven’t installed yet. Seems like you may have the same wires that I have. If and when someone on here figures it out, I hope they would share.

I'm still waiting on somebody that has the wiring diagrams to post something. My Limited has LED turn signals, and the plug has 4 wires. Just need the wiring diagram and I can figure it out from there...

Take the plug off, turn on your emergency flashers and measure the voltage with a multimeter. That's what I did, I don't have the LED turn signals so not sure if the wires would be the same

Yes, if someone could post the signal wiring, that would be great. I have them installed and used a fuse tap in the box near the wiper fluid that only runs on accessory. I haven't hooked up the signal wires yet because I haven't had time to explore which wire controls the signal.

Mine just arrived...now I'm just waiting for the truck to get here. At least I moved up in the waitlist from 17 down to 12. Guess I should've bought the truck first before buying all these parts/ accessories. Started out with one small crate and now it's overflowed to half my garage, lol.

I’m wondering if you could access the “fang” “cover, front bumper hole” (part #52127G) from under the bumper peeling back the felt wheel liner and access from above the headlight. I really don’t want to take the bumper off.

I don't have these lights on my truck but I read through the posts out of curiosity. For what it's worth, I often see posts on the Tacomaworld.com forum from a user called "caribe makaira" who seems to always be posting about various wiring solutions with explanations and diagrams. I wonder if those of you who are wondering on how to wire these lights who are also on that forum could get in touch with that person? Maybe he's on this forum as well? Just a thought...

Can you take a pic of where you tapped into for the fuse tap into the accessory slot? Also if you used add a fuse what amperage fuse did you use? Pics please. Also the signal wire taps into your blinker peach colored wire. Photo showed is from a fb member. This is the route I was going to use if not successful with the add a fuse.
