Not in my opinion, using a T-tap is like using a wire nut, also this person ran into an issue between using a fuse tap for a ATM vs and ATM LP…. It is what it is.. not a fan of t-taps, but ok since LED lights can illuminate off of 9 volts.. but I would seal it, even if it looks like crap.Is this guy magic or something?
I am in the automotive industry… I know a guy that can do this if you’d like… not to take work away from Nave Motors, but this guy’s work is excellent and he is reasonableyeah ! i gotta show this video to Nave motors . they wanted to recalibrate the adaptive cruise control sensors after pulling the front end to install these (with a $700 recal trip to the dealers)
I still want these installed 🫤
yeah I wasn't really commenting on the wiring, it's not good. I was referring to reaching through from the top to remove the stock "vent" panels. If i were going to use the turn function (I'm not) I would probably de-pin the connector and replace the pin with a new one and both wires into the one pin. I don't plan on even connecting the turn function as I have the sequential turns in the headlight and I think it would look off.Not in my opinion, using a T-tap is like using a wire nut, also this person ran into an issue between using a fuse tap for a ATM vs and ATM LP…. LED Factory Mart is where I got mineWhere did you purchase these from I would like some for mine?
I think not much have done it this way because it’s time consuming. I’m sure the guy doing this video edited the video to make it seem easy. Also taking the bumper off makes it easier to route wires and tidy it up before putting bumper back on. I’ve done mine and it was easy peasy taking the bumper off. Plus I can still use my original black insert (since I didn’t break the tabs) if the fang lights failIs this guy magic or something?
