First oil change at 840 miles with filter cut open (LOTS of debris!)

Why let Toyota off the hook for these trash vehicles? I had my oil changed at 9,680 miles. It was noticeably quieter after the oil change, probably should've been changed around 5,000 miles. I hope it blows up around 30,000 miles and Toyota has to replace it. I won't own by then, I know that much
